Do I need to activate the recipients card?

No this is all completed by the end recipient. All prepaid cards are delivered unactive and require activating before they can be spent. To activate their card, the recipient need to register their account online. Once done, the card will be 'unlocked' and ready to use. Emails providing guidance on how to do this are sent to the recipient when you place the order.

If they need to register a replacement card, all they need to do is log in and follow the instructions to activate the new card. The recipient will need the card as they will asked to enter the 9-digit card ID, found on the bottom left corner of the card.
